Places to Stay
Travelling from Morelia
Quinta Sauz Hotel
Tacámbaro is located in the heart of Michoacan. The most convenient way to get there is by flying into Morelia International Airport (MLM), which is only two hours away. The foreign airports that offer trips to Morelia are Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, and Chicago. From there, we recommend renting a car or booking private transportation to enjoy the scenic drive through avocado orchards and pine forests.
A boutique experience in a renovated 19th-century hacienda. It offers luxurious spa services and a stunning garden.
Travelling from Mexico City
For those traveling from Mexico City, luxury buses depart daily from the Observatorio Terminal via Morelia. Alternatively, you can rent a car or book private transport for a scenic 5-hour drive from the capital, or take a quick flight to Morelia International Airport.
Santo Niño Inn
A comfortable and centrally located option in Tacambaro, perfect for resting during the wedding weekend. It offers cozy rooms and a convenient location to enjoy the town and the celebrations.
If you have any trouble organizing your transportation, please contact us so we can help with group transfers and travel coordination.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?
The event will take place at a ranch, so we recommend dressing comfortably. Bring a jacket, as the temperature drops at night. It is not a formal dress event, but if you would like some ideas, think colorful hacienda or ranch style: boots, colorful peasant skirts or dresses, vibrant shirts, chinos, Mexican embroidery. How to Get to Tacambaro?
Tacambaro is about a five-hour drive from Mexico City. If you speak Spanish and or live in Mexico, we recommend renting a car or driving your own. If you are coming from abroad and do not speak Spanish, we will take care of your transportation from Mexico City and within Tacambaro.
To get to Mexico City, you can find direct flights from major European cities or connect through the United States.
Will there be transportation for guests?
We are currently exploring the possibility of offering shared transportation for our guests. This will be confirmed at a later time.
May I bring children to the celebration?
Yes, children are welcome.
How do I confirm dietary restrictions?
Mexico is a country with incredible culinary richness. Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, or follow a halal diet, we will have options for you. When confirming your attendance, please let us know if you have any dietary preferences.
What can you do around the celebration venue?
Tacámbaro is classified as a “Pueblo Mágico”, a distinction granted by the Ministry of Tourism to the most picturesque towns in each state. There you can walk through its red and white painted streets, enjoy its gastronomy, or visit natural attractions such as Cerro Hueco, La Alberca, or La Laguna.
A little farther away, about 70 kilometers away, is one of the most emblematic places in Mexico, Patzcuaro. Walking through the town and its majestic main square teaches us to appreciate the symbiosis, perhaps like nowhere else, between the two cultures that shape our country. This magical place becomes even more special with the decorations and events organized to celebrate Día de Muertos.
